 e supercomputers. \nThis is the most important training for a novice user
 . The main goal is to showcase the general flow of doing calculations on a
  supercomputer and present how to configure a job tuned to the problem siz
 e and type.\nLevel\n\nTarget audience\nTraining is intended for new users 
 who just created an account\, ran an example job and want to start running
  their own calculations at ACC Cyfronet AGH. \nAgenda\n\nWhat's HPC?\nSto
 rage spaces at Cyfronet and how to use them\,\nOverview of the sbatch opti
 ons used to run jobs\,\nModules or how to use software on the supercompute
 r\,\nJob monitoring in practice\n\nRequirements\nWe recommend doing this t
 raining after completing First Time on a Supercomputer training provided
  at ACK Cyfronet AGH. \nTechnical prerequisites:\n\nPLGrid account at ht
 tps://portal.plgrid.pl/\;\nan active affiliation at https://portal.plgrid
 .pl/users/affiliations\;\naccess to Ares supercomputer\,\n\nif a participa
 nt has the access\, no further action\,\nif not\, one need to apply at ht
 tps://portal.plgrid.pl/services/103 and the access will be granted when jo
 ining the team (see below)\,\nparticipants are not required to have their 
 own grant allocations\;\n\n\nmembership in the plggtraining team - the act
 ivation link will be sent after registration.\n\nThe above prerequisites a
 re required to actively participate in the hands-on exercises.In case of n
 o active affiliation or PLGrid account\, please contact the organisers at
  training@cyfronet.pl. \nParticipants' computers should be equipped with 
 software that allows SSH connections. On Windows\, it is recommended to us
 e Windows Terminal (not to be confused with Powershell after checking if O
 penSSH is installed (run ssh -V in the terminal). We advise against using 
 Putty.\nAt 10:30 am on 23rd February 2026\, a Dry-run will be held. Partic
 ipants are invited to come to learn how to log in to Ares supercomputer be
 fore the training and resolve any problems with the Training Team.\nVenue\
 nThe workshop will be conducted online on the Zoom platform. The meeting l
 ink will be sent to registered participants.\nLanguage\nEnglish\nDuration\
 n3 hours\nRegistration\nThe Registration and the Waiting list close automa
 tically after 17th February 2026. The Registration may close prematurely i
 f the limit number of participants is hit beforehand\, but the Waiting Lis
