 Cyfronet AGH)\n\n! This training is made exclusively for students and doct
 oral students of Warsaw University! Only registrations affiliated with UW 
 will be able to participate join the training\nThe training focuses on run
 ning and monitoring jobs on the supercomputers. \nThis is the most importa
 nt training for a novice user. The main goal is to showcase the general fl
 ow of doing calculations on a supercomputer and present how to configure a
  job tuned to the problem size and type.\nLevel\n\nTarget audience\nTraini
 ng is intended for new users who just created an account\, ran an example 
 job and want to start running their own calculations at ACC Cyfronet AGH.
  \nAgenda\n\nWhat's HPC?\nStorage spaces at Cyfronet and how to use them\
 ,\nOverview of the sbatch options used to run jobs\,\nModules or how to us
 e software on the supercomputer\,\nJob monitoring in practice\n\nRequireme
 nts\nWe recommend doing this training after completing First Time on a Su
 percomputer training provided at ACC Cyfronet AGH. \nTechnical prerequisi
 tes:\n\nPLGrid account at https://portal.plgrid.pl/ - specify your PLGrid
  login in the registration form\;\nan active affiliation at https://porta
 l.plgrid.pl/users/affiliations\;\naccepting the invitation to the training
  in PLGrid Portal at https://portal.plgrid.pl/training_invitations once it
  is sent by the Training Team.\n\nThe above prerequisites are required to 
 actively participate in the hands-on exercises.In case of no active affili
 ation or PLGrid account\, please create one using our Guide.In case of pro
 blems\, please contact the Training Team at training@cyfronet.pl. \nPartic
 ipants' computers should be equipped with software that allows SSH connect
 ions. On Windows\, it is recommended to use Windows Terminal (not to be co
 nfused with Powershell after checking if OpenSSH is installed (run ssh -V 
 in the terminal). We advise against using Putty.\nAt 9:45 am on 03rd June 
 2026 (the day of the training)\, a Dry-run will be held. Participants are 
 invited to come to learn how to log in to Ares supercomputer before the tr
 aining and resolve any problems with the Training Team\nVenue\nThe worksho
 p will be conducted online on the Zoom platform. The meeting link will be 
 sent to registered participants.\nLanguage\nEnglish\nDuration\n3 hours\nRe
 gistration\nThe Registration and the Waiting list close automatically afte
 r 2nd May 2026. The Registration may close prematurely if the limit number
  of participants is hit beforehand\, but the Waiting List will be availabl
