 EBG 2026 workshop!\nThe training focuses on running and monitoring jobs on
  the supercomputers. \nThis is the most important training for a novice us
 er. The main goal is to showcase the general flow of doing calculations on
  a supercomputer and present how to configure a job tuned to the problem s
 ize and type.\nLevel\n\nTarget audience\nTraining is intended for new user
 s who just created an account\, ran an example job and want to start runni
 ng their own calculations at ACC Cyfronet AGH. \nAgenda\n\nWhat's HPC?\nS
 torage spaces at Cyfronet and how to use them\,\nOverview of the sbatch op
 tions used to run jobs\,\nModules or how to use software on the supercompu
 ter\,\nJob monitoring in practice\n\nRequirements\nWe recommend doing this
  training after completing First Time on a Supercomputer training provid

 m.\n\nThe above prerequisites are required to actively participate in the 
 hands-on exercises.In case of no active affiliation or PLGrid account\, pl
 ease create one using our Guide.In case of problems\, please contact the T
 raining Team at training@cyfronet.pl. \nParticipants' computers should be 
 equipped with software that allows SSH connections. On Windows\, it is rec
 ommended to use Windows Terminal (not to be confused with Powershell after
  checking if OpenSSH is installed (run ssh -V in the terminal). We advise 
 against using Putty.\nAt 9:45 am on 03rd June 2026 (the day of the trainin
 g)\, a Dry-run will be held. Participants are invited to come to learn how
  to log in to Ares supercomputer before the training and resolve any probl
 ems with the Training Team\nVenue\nThe workshop will be conducted online o
 n the Zoom platform. The meeting link will be sent to registered participa
 nts.\nLanguage\nEnglish\nDuration\n3 hours\nRegistration\nThe Registration
  and the Waiting list close automatically after 2nd May 2026. The Registra
 tion may close prematurely if the limit number of participants is hit befo
 rehand\, but the Waiting List will be available until the deadline above.\
